Laundry Attendant (Weekend Availability Required)

About the role

Cleans and prepares all soiled linen.

Responsibilities

• Sort, pretreat, wash and fold all linen.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Secure and maintain custody of equipment, keys and supplies at all times in order to protect and preserve hotel property.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
• Provide assistance to other employees and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
• Minimum of 9th grade reading/writing skills.
• Minimum age of 18 years or older.
• May require a clean MVR and active driver's license.
