Laundry Attendant Tuesday-Saturday 7am-4pm

About the Role

As a Laundry Attendant, you’ll play an essential role in enriching the lives of seniors, creating meaningful connections, and making a difference every single day. You will be responsible for completing laundry services for residents and community operations while maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary laundry environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident laundry according to the daily cleaning schedule
• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute bed linens, towels, and resident personal clothing based on resident requests
• Complete laundry more frequently for Assisted Living apartments as needed
• Launder cleaning rags and mops daily
• Perform laundry duties for dining room linens upon request
• Package, tag, and deliver clean linens to resident apartments
• Maintain laundry equipment and ensure adequate supplies are available
• Keep the laundry area clean, orderly, and sanitary at all times
• Ensure laundry chemicals are secured when not in use
• Report equipment issues or repair needs to the Director of Housekeeping
• Inventory laundry supplies monthly and communicate needs to leadership
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and resident-specific requests
• Ability to maintain organization and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Pay and Schedule

Status: FULL TIME, Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 7AM-4PM, Rate of Pay: HOURLY Depending on Experience
