Laundry Attendant

About the role

Meadow Lake Resort is seeking a Housekeeping Laundry Attendant to support our housekeeping team. This role involves processing high volumes of laundry, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring linens and supplies are ready for guest use.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of laundry — washing, drying, folding, and distributing resort linens
• Keep laundry equipment clean and functioning, including emptying lint traps twice daily
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry room, hallways, and employee areas
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and ironing equipment safely
• Sort, fold, iron, and inspect linens to ensure top-quality standards
• Prepare linens for housekeeping carts, closets, and pool towel service
• Aid with pool area towel needs and help keep pool and deck furniture tidy
• Deep clean lobby restrooms, pool restrooms, and disinfect the gym when assigned
• Stock and organize housekeeping supplies for the next day's operations
• Maintain the employee break room, including prepping coffee and cleaning common areas
• Sweep, mop, and keep work areas spotless throughout the day
• Respond to guest or MOD requests, including disinfecting tasks
• Perform additional cleaning duties as needed to support the team

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping areas clean and organized
• Ability to safely operate commercial laundry equipment
• Efficient worker who thrives in a fast-paced, warm, and busy environment
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to follow clear procedures
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required

Qualifications

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is a plus — but not required!
