About the role
The Sagamore Resort is seeking a laundry attendant to assist with resort operations by maintaining a supply of fresh laundry for guests.
Responsibilities
- Sort incoming linen and terry
- Transport loads of wet & dry linen and terry in carts to washers and dryers
- Wash, dry and fold linens and terry
- Restock carts and/or closet
- Operate ironer/cross-folder
- Operate towel folder
- Inspect linen & terry for stains/rips and route to be discarded or rewashed
Requirements
- Hardworking and takes pride in work
- Follows directions
- Works independently and in small teams
- Reliable transportation
- Flexible scheduling to include weekends and holidays
- Able to stand for long periods of time
Qualifications
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required: Close vision, Distance vision, Depth perception, Ability to adjust focus
