Laundry Attendant

About the role

We are seeking a Laundry Attendant to start immediately, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the resort’s laundry facilities. You will ensure all laundry items are cleaned, folded, and ready to use by guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate laundry equipment, including washers and dryers, to clean linen and towels.
• Use appropriate methods for stain removal and fabric care.
• Inspect laundry items for stains, tears, or other damage before processing.
• Sort and fold laundry items and put them in their designated storage areas.
• Prepare linen bags for next-day departures, ensuring guests have fresh linens during their stay.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals including use, storage, and disposal methods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role desired.
