Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron hotel linens, towels, and guest clothing according to established procedures.
- Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Use and handle laundry chemicals properly, following safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
- Inspect laundered items for stains, damage, or quality issues and report any concerns.
- Work quickly and accurately to meet daily laundry demands.
- Restock closets and support organization for the housekeeping team
- Aid with inventory management of laundry supplies and chemicals.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in hotel laundry operations preferred.
- Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining attention to detail.
- Understanding of laundry chemicals and safe handling practices.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Good physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lifting.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
