Laundry Attendant

About the role

Welcome to Hotel Murano, a distinguished property within the Pyramid Global Hospitality portfolio. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests' linens, contributing to an outstanding guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is enjoyable
• Work as a team to maintain the cleanliness of the resort/hotel
• Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding guest room linens and restaurant/catering linens
• Keep the laundry area and common areas clean and organized
• Perform daily cleaning of housekeeping and maintenance staff restrooms
• Understand and utilize equipment and chemicals safely
• Aid housemen and housekeepers as needed
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Respond in a friendly, helpful manner to other team members

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience desirable
• Neat, pleasant personality
• Time management skills
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs

Compensation

The starting hourly rate for this position is $19.00 per hour. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
