About the role

Join our team as a Laundry Attendant and contribute to maintaining the high standards of our hotel and casino operations.

Responsibilities

• Empty all laundry receptacles
• Properly sort all linen for laundering
• Pre-spot and pre-soak difficult stains before washing
• Load and unload washers and dryers
• Fold linen, individually or with a partner based on size
• Deliver and stack clean linen in supply areas
• Report any problems immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor or Guest Relations Manager
• Report to manager when chemicals/items needed for the job need to be reordered
• Store chemicals neatly and properly
• Communicate with other departments for proper distribution of laundry
• Promote outstanding customer relations
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior laundry experience a plus
• Must be able to work alone and/or as a team
• Good communication and organization skills
• Detail-oriented
• Required to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Able to lift/carry 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Frequently walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, carrying, and climbing

Pay

$15.10–$17.00 per hour + tips
