Job Duties
- Operate laundry equipment, including washers and dryers, to clean linen and towels.
- Use appropriate methods for stain removal and fabric care.
- Inspect laundry items for stains, tears or other damage before processing.
- Sort and fold laundry items and put them in their designated storage areas.
- Prepare linen bags for next-day departures, ensuring guests have fresh linens during their stay.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals including use, storage and disposal methods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role desired.
