Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
Reports to: Laundry Supervisor, Housekeeping Managers, Executive Housekeeper.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial laundry machinery.
• Sort dried articles according to identification number or type.
• Fold and place items in appropriate storage bins.
• Sort and count articles to verify quantities on laundry lists.
• Pre‑treat stains with special solutions using safety precautions and proper procedures.
• Check and clean all filters on washers and dryers every two hours.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of the English language for effective communication with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.
• Attendance at required meetings; projects and assignments completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
• Adaptability to high‑pressure conditions and openness to change.
• Responsibility for personal growth and development.
• Professional conduct, appearance, and communication at all times.
• Understanding and communication of the Driftwood Mission.
• Clear, effective, and professional expression of ideas and information.

Physical Requirements

• Stand on feet for long periods, up to a 10‑hour shift.
• Average lifting of 20 to 50 pounds; pushing and pulling of approximately 200 pounds.
• Perform pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, and manual dexterity tasks.
• Hearing required for workplace safety.
