Laundry Attendant

About the role

A Day on the Job Summary: The Laundry Attendant is responsible for cleaning, processing, and organization of all Club linens, laundry, towels, etc. to ensure consistent supply of fresh, high-quality materials for golf operations, pool facilities, locker rooms, dining outlets, and special events. This position plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in maintaining the Club’s standards of excellence, cleanliness and Member satisfaction. We are looking for an individual to cover our day shift position, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and inspect soiled linens, towels, and other items
• Load and operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently
• Complete full wash and dry cycles according to fabric and chemical guidelines
• Assure quality cleaning and proper pressing of linens and towels
• Separate and inspect items for stains, damage, repairs, or excessive wear; remove worn items from circulation and report concerns
• Fold linens and towels by type and store them in designated areas
• Check daily worksheets to identify items requiring laundering
• Maintain appropriate levels of pool towels, locker room towels, golf towels, table linens, napkins, and event linens
• Transport clean linens to proper storage and distribution locations throughout the Club
• Take periodic inventory of linens
