Responsibilities

• Sort soiled linens, towels, and uniforms by color, fabric type, and level of soiling.
• Wash, dry, and fold items according to hotel procedures and care instructions.
• Operate industrial washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry room to ensure hygiene and operational efficiency.
• Dispose of trash, lint, and other waste materials properly.
• Inspect laundry items for stains, tears, or damage and treat stains and perform minor repairs (e.g., sewing small tears or replacing buttons).
• Stock and deliver linens to storage areas or other departments as needed.
• Assist housekeeping staff with additional laundry-related tasks, such as collecting used linens from guest rooms.
• Prioritize tasks to ensure laundry is cleaned and delivered in a timely manner, especially during peak times.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
• Exceptional ability to manage time effectively and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent skills for engaging with guests and collaborating with team members seamlessly.
