About the Role
Handle all hotel linens and ensure linens are properly laundered, dried, and stored each day.
Responsibilities
- Receive and sort dirty linens.
- Ensure linen is never sitting on the floor.
- Pre-soak stained linen.
- Set aside unusable linen in the appropriate discard area.
- Load washers according to the instructions and know load limits.
- Prepare proper concentration of cleaning chemicals.
- Dry, fold, and store linen in the appropriate area.
- Clean lint filters in dryers daily.
- Keep laundry room clean.
- Clean behind and above dryers on a weekly basis.
- Mop floors as necessary.
- Follow all appropriate OSHA/HAZCOM procedures.
- Perform other duties as requested by Executive Housekeeper and/or another member of management.

- Regularly required to stand and walk the entire shift, talk and/or hear.
- Frequently required to use hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and stoop.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include reading.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
- Occasionally exposed to hazards including slipping, tripping, and falls.
- Frequent exposure to dirt, humidity, heat, cold, and water immersion of hands.
- Exposure to harsh and hazardous sanitation solutions, and frequent washing of hands.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background and drug test.
