Weekly Pay: $16 per hour
Responsibilities
- Maintain laundry in an efficient, clean, orderly, safe and sanitary manner
- To ensure clean clothing and linen are always available to meet the needs of the residents and facility
- All laundry must be done according to sanitation procedures, safety precautions, infection control and universal precautions
- Follow washing instructions on each article of clothing/linen to ensure maximum care and cleanliness
- Label unmarked clothes
- Restock linens and return residents’ articles of clothing to their rooms
- Other duties as assigned by team
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Housekeeping/laundry experience preferred but not required
- Must be willing and able to professionally work with a wide variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform required duties
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public, and be able to appropriately handle residents
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must possess accurate and comprehensive assessment skills
