Laundry Aide – Part Time Days | Weekends

About the role

We are currently hiring a Laundry Aide to help ensure residents receive clean, properly handled clothing and linens while maintaining a safe and organized laundry operation.

Responsibilities

• Sort linens, towels, clothing, and other laundry items by color, size, and material.
• Operate commercial laundry equipment following proper sanitization procedures.
• Load and unload commercial washers and dryers.
• Prepare and package laundry items for resident delivery.
• Create and maintain laundry tags with resident identification information.
• Assist with receiving and unloading laundry deliveries from vendors and suppliers.
• Stock laundry supplies, including detergent, bleach, fabric softener, and laundry bags.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry room.
• Clean and perform basic upkeep of laundry equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Understanding of personal hygiene, professional appearance, and workplace safety.

Schedule

Part-Time Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, every weekend.
