Laundry Aide / Housekeeping - PRN

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and organized person to join our Laundry/Housekeeping team at a large senior living community in Lakewood, CO. This is a PRN position, perfect for students or those seeking flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Work in both Laundry and Housekeeping as needed
• Operate commercial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, label machine) safely and effectively
• Monitor laundering process to ensure proper washing, drying, and labeling techniques
• Inspect items for stains, damage, or needed repairs; report issues to supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, storing cleaning agents and supplies appropriately
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks
• Assist in maintaining equipment by following maintenance and cleaning schedules
• Provide excellent customer service for laundry-related concerns
• Clean common areas, restrooms, and trash rooms
• Perform dry mopping, wet mopping, and floor machine operation
• Clean dining rooms
• Lift 50+ lbs in both housekeeping and laundry tasks

Requirements

• Prior experience in laundry or housekeeping
• Knowledge of different fabric types and their care requirements
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry laundry items (50+ lbs)
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
