Laundry Aide

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens
• Return clothing and linens to the correct resident or department
• Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry department
• Follow infection prevention and safety procedures
• Work closely with housekeeping and nursing departments
• Help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming home for our residents

Requirements

• Laundry or housekeeping experience is helpful, but not required—we're happy to train the right person
• Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassion and respect for elderly residents
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the position
