Laundry Aide

About the role

Collect and sort soiled linen, load and unload washing machines, fold clean linen, count the amount of linen processed each day, deliver clean laundry to assigned units, and clean and sanitize the work area, including machines, worktables, and sorting areas.

• Sort soiled linen, load and unload washers and dryers.
• Operate computer-operated washers and dryers according to operating procedures.
• Sort and fold clean linen accurately and in a timely manner.
• Place clean linen in a delivery cart and deliver to appropriate units, using caution when pushing carts.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care.
• You are a team player, dedicated to supporting your team members and getting the job done.

Pay

Starting wage: $15.00 per hour plus $0.85 per hour Hero/Hazard Pay. Yearly wage increases.

Schedule

• Part Time – all shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays.
• 8-hour shifts.
• No late nights.
