About the role
As a Laundry Aide at Avantara Milbank, you play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our residents' linen and clothing.
Responsibilities
- Ensure an adequate supply of facility linen is available.
- Sort, wash, dry, label, and deliver resident clothing and facility linen.
- Maintain the comfort and safety of our residents through your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail.
Requirements
A minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required. Prior Laundry Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but not mandatory.
Qualifications
Candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Skills
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
