About the role
Wexford House is seeking a compassionate, reliable Laundry Aide to join our care team in a rewarding, team-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Follow all cleaning schedules, completing daily assignments
- Maintain a high standard of presentation always adhering to infection control policies
- Perform laundry tasks (counting linens, delivering to units, sanitizing work areas, operating washer and dryers, etc.)
- Assist with room readiness for admissions and/or room changes
- Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Administrator, Environmental Services Director, or Regional Director of Maintenance
- Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Long-term care or applicable experience preferred
