Position Summary

The Heights Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, located in the lovely community of Broadview Heights, Ohio, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team. This full-time position plays an important role in supporting our residents by ensuring linens, clothing, and facility laundry are cleaned, sanitized, and properly handled. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining cleanliness and helping create a comfortable environment for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens.
• Follow proper infection control and laundry handling procedures.
• Ensure all laundry is properly labeled and returned to the correct resident or department.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and report any equipment issues to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Assist with maintaining adequate linen supply for resident care areas.
• Follow facility policies and procedures related to safety and sanitation.
• Work cooperatively with nursing, housekeeping, and other departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or healthcare facility experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull laundry carts and supplies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment.
