Launch Demand Planner

About the role

This role is located at our Bowling Green plant in Bowling Green, OH.

Responsibilities

• Lead supply chain projects aiming at developing and continuously improving the planning and information flow processes, efficient utilization of available capacities and resources, in a safe environment and in order to meet customer demand, enhance material flow and optimise inventory.
• Ensure compliance to policies, standards and governance of processes through communication and training (train the trainer) of the supply chain team.
• Planning of all supply chain process steps from supplier to customer for New Programs.
• Responsible for gate reviews in accordance with the New Program Launch process.
• Cordination of all PC&L activities between program organizations and plants.
• Planning and implemenatation of transport organization for new programs between supplier, plant and customer.
• Planning and calculating the implementation of material and information flows.
• Create, maintain and govern the execution of Project Plans.
• Maintain, manage and communicate KPIs and project governance.
• Apply PDCA approach, use A3 appropriately in case of deviation to plan to ensure successful project delivery and sustainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3+ years experience in Supply Chain Forecasting & Demand Planing.
• Proficientcy in ERP systems (QAD/SAP/Oracle).
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certified or equivalent.
