About the role

We are seeking an E-I Technician / Process Operator to join our offshore operations in Gabon. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of electrical, instrumentation, and process systems on our offshore facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems, including PLCs, control valves, transmitters, and safety systems.
• Operate and monitor process systems, ensuring safe and efficient production.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration of equipment.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies, taking corrective actions as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Document maintenance activities, incidents, and operational data accurately.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize production and resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or certification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Process Operations (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as an E-I Technician or Process Operator in an offshore or industrial environment.
• Familiarity with PLC systems, control loops, and safety instrumented systems (SIS).
• Knowledge of process control, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Valid offshore certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET, OPITO) are a plus.
• Fluency in English; French is an advantage.
