Responsibilities
- Perform laser welding operations ensuring precision, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
- Setup and operate of laser welding equipment.
- Perform testing and keep records for welded assemblies.
- Comply with policies, guidelines and safety and regulatory requirements per Lexington Medical Quality System.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the laser welding operations.
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and quality control, to ensure seamless integration of laser welding processes into overall manufacturing operations.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications & Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Well organized, detail oriented.
- Familiarity with office computer programs.
- Small parts assembly experience strongly preferred.
- Medical devices or other regulated industry experience a plus.
- Cleanroom experience a plus.
