Laser Specialist – BLM LT8 Tube Laser Operator

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Laser Specialist. The ideal candidate will have strong technical background, hands-on experience with laser cutting systems, and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues efficiently. Responsibilities

• Operate the BLM LT8 tube laser safely and efficiently to meet production goals.
• Set up materials, adjust machine parameters, and monitor cutting operations for precision and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and basic mechanical repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues to reduce downtime.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications.
• Maintain accurate production records and uphold all company safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience operating laser cutting equipment; BLM LT8 experience strongly preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Skilled in machine setup, calibration, and parameter adjustments.
• Experience with BLM software, control interfaces, and basic CNC programming.
• High attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; BLM LT8 training preferred.
