Laser Punch Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate laser punch machines per work orders and blueprints.
• Load and unload metal sheets and finished parts.
• Maintain machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Inspect parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Communicate production or quality issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Experience operating laser punch or laser cutting machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Plus: hands-on experience with Trumpf laser machines, sheet metal fabrication experience, and familiarity with CNC programming or nesting software.
