Laser Operator Helper - 2nd Shift
Position Summary
This is an entry level position where you will assist the Laser Operator by pulling cut parts out of steel skeletons, removing thermal oxide off the edges and storing raw materials in the proper locations. Earn while you learn from an experienced operator. We are looking for a results-driven individual who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and maintaining a safe, efficient workspace.
Compensation & Schedule
Pay Range: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (Starting rate commensurate with experience)
Shift: 2nd Shift - Mon - Weds. 4:30pm - 5:00am
Employees work three 12-hour shifts (36 hours) and are compensated for a full 40-hour workweek.
15% shift differential for 2nd shift
$3,000 sign-on bonus for 2nd and weekend shifts
Machine Operators: Material Handling: Load sheet metal into bays and safely use a forklift to move materials and completed parts.
Post-Processing: Separate and "pick" parts from skeletons, stack them systematically, and package finished goods using banding or shrink wrap.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and remain active in a manufacturing environment.
Aptitude: Solid shop math.
A "keen eye" for detail and a results-driven approach.

The ability to operate or willingness to learn how to operate a forklift
