Laser Drill Operator* (Swing)

About the role

This position involves performing mechanical laser drilling on printed circuit boards. The qualified individual will operate mechanical and laser drill equipment, inspect their own work for quality and accuracy, and ensure adherence to process travelers, customer specifications, and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical drilling and laser drilling on printed circuit boards.
• Inspect own work for quality and accuracy.
• Follow process travelers, customer specifications, and tolerances specified on travelers or blueprints.
• Operate and maintain printed circuit board Excellon drilling equipment.
• Stand for long periods, up to 80% of the work time.
• Work overtime and weekends as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of printed circuit board mechanical drill experience, including controlled depth drill and back drill.
• Familiarity with printed circuit board Excellon drilling equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be available to work overtime and weekends.
• Must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident (ITAR facility requirement).

Prior Sanmina experience and systems knowledge is preferred.

Pay

Annual salary range: $43,680.00 - $47,840.00. Actual base pay will be determined based on a candidate’s years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills.
