Messer Cutting Systems offers innovative software programs that effectively streamline processes. Our software solutions are the effective link between our customer’s machine and commercial products.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote, in-house, and on-site customer training and support on machine operation, process optimization, and CAD/CAM programming software
- Deliver remote, in-house, and on-site training to customers, requiring an average of 25% travel (potential for higher levels as needed)
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop new product lines prior to launching
- Manage enhancement and bug fix lists and test software after changes and upgrades
- Database development (Laser focused)
- Effectively communicate during extensive interaction with customers
- Develop knowledge base articles and other training materials
- Conduct equipment, software demonstrations, and presentations to prospective customers
- Work closely with other departments to ensure products are delivered on time and meet all customer requirements
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and proactively maintain collaborative relationships
- Support a global network by effectively communicating across geographic, cultural, cross-functional, and organizational differences
- Attend trade shows to represent the company and products
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in related field preferred
- 3 or more years of experience with laser cutting machinery preferred
- Experience cleaning and changing laser cutting heads
- Database/Parameter development
- Advanced understanding of G&M code
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required
Skills
- AutoCAD or SOLIDWORKS experience preferred
- Knowledge of CNC equipment preferred
- Knowledge of material handling systems preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with good organizational skills and the flexibility and adaptability to work on multiple projects with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication and presentation skills required
- Self-starter with determination for completing tasks
