Messer Cutting Systems offers innovative software programs that effectively streamline processes. Our software solutions are the effective link between our customer’s machine and commercial products.

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote, in-house, and on-site customer training and support on machine operation, process optimization, and CAD/CAM programming software
  • Deliver remote, in-house, and on-site training to customers, requiring an average of 25% travel (potential for higher levels as needed)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop new product lines prior to launching
  • Manage enhancement and bug fix lists and test software after changes and upgrades
  • Database development (Laser focused)
  • Effectively communicate during extensive interaction with customers
  • Develop knowledge base articles and other training materials
  • Conduct equipment, software demonstrations, and presentations to prospective customers
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure products are delivered on time and meet all customer requirements
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and proactively maintain collaborative relationships
  • Support a global network by effectively communicating across geographic, cultural, cross-functional, and organizational differences
  • Attend trade shows to represent the company and products

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in related field preferred
  • 3 or more years of experience with laser cutting machinery preferred
  • Experience cleaning and changing laser cutting heads
  • Database/Parameter development
  • Advanced understanding of G&M code
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required

Skills

  • AutoCAD or SOLIDWORKS experience preferred
  • Knowledge of CNC equipment preferred
  • Knowledge of material handling systems preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with good organizational skills and the flexibility and adaptability to work on multiple projects with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong communication and presentation skills required
  • Self-starter with determination for completing tasks
