About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Art Director / Senior Designer to join our collaborative team. This role involves leading design projects across a variety of mediums, including branding and identity, web design, illustration, animation, and typography. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to create cohesive, innovative, and impactful visual solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee design projects from concept to execution, ensuring creative vision aligns with client goals and brand standards.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and strategists to produce high-quality work across branding, web design, motion graphics, and content strategy.
• Develop and refine visual systems, including typography, color palettes, and design guidelines.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity, learning, and innovation.
• Stay current with design trends, tools, and techniques to continuously elevate the studio’s work.
• Present design concepts and rationale to clients, incorporating feedback to refine and finalize deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications Design, or a related field (e.g., BFA from Pratt Institute or equivalent).
• Proven experience as an Art Director, Senior Designer, or similar role in a creative studio or agency.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in branding, web design, illustration, animation, and typography.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch.
• Experience with motion graphics (e.g., After Effects) and content strategy is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a keen eye for detail.
