About the role
To serve large format grocery store customers by selling products and managing employees to established standards in order to increase company sales and profits.
Responsibilities
- Maximize sales and distribution of products by working with retailers to identify opportunities to increase sales and profitability through proper use of Point of Sale materials, communication of price/value, and securing displays.
- Coach, train, and develop employees to ensure performance aligns with established standards.
- Develop, build, and maintain relationships with store management to sell and order appropriate product levels for each location.
- Assist in scheduling merchandisers to ensure each retailer location is serviced according to company standards.
- Stock, rotate, and display all products to established standards (e.g., coolers, vendors).
- Complete, review, approve, and maintain time-off requests, timecards, mileage reports, and other paperwork according to company policy.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information, promotions, pricing, employee information, customer data, and other sensitive or confidential information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and procedures, including OSHA, safety compliance, and federal/state/local laws.
- Work assigned schedule, exhibit regular and predictable attendance, and work outside normal hours as required to meet workload demands.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required; 2-year/Associate Degree in Business preferred; 4-year/Bachelor’s Degree in Business preferred.
- 1–3 years of retail management experience; previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of employment.
- Ability to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed.

- Knowledge of: retail sales environment; grocery and beverage industry; standard selling practices; writing customer orders; Microsoft Office Suite.
