Large Customer Billing Representative
Job Summary
Complete all requirements for the monthly billing processes for all major account customers within UGI South, Central, North, and the electric division major account customers. Respond to inquiries from external customers, marketers, and consultants. Provide support to the Relationship Managers and other various internal departments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and analyze data applicable to customer usage, identify potential discrepancies, and provide resolution to eliminate potential billing errors. This is done by analyzing and updating data in the Gastar Gas Management system, Metretek Remote Metering system, and SAP.
- Work independently responding to external inquiries (phone calls and e-mails) applicable to various billing issues; including resolving billing disputes with difficult customers.
- Aid Relationship Managers and other departments with major account billing and Metretek inquiries and/or potential issues.
- Maintain and analyze monthly billing summaries for Financial Accounting sales and revenue verification.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of SAP CRM, SAP ECC and BDEx systems to accurately handle Major Accounts billing and account maintenance.
- Understanding of PowerSpring, PrimeRead, and the Gastar Gas Management System as it applies to the billing of Major Accounts.
- Proficient with computer functions as it applies to various summaries and analysis completed for Major Accounts.
- Full understanding of UGI Utilities Natural Gas and Electric tariffs as it relates to the complexities of Major Accounts rates, billing, and procedures.
- Soft skills in handling customer inquiries and disputes.
Education and Experience
- Associate Degree in Business and/or strong customer accounting/accounting experience.
- 2+ years of billing, metering, or accounting experience
