Laravel Developer
We are looking for a personal financial planning professional (Certified Financial Planner™ preferred) who will lead our client advising efforts as a fiduciary. You’ll work directly with clients to provide holistic advice on saving, retirement, debt management, and investments.
About You
We are especially interested in candidates with experience building web APIs with Go or experience with functional programming (e.g., Elixir, NodeJS, Clojure, F#). While you may not have experience with all technologies in our stack, you are motivated to learn deeply and will have the opportunity to work with both Go and Elixir alongside experienced teammates who can teach and pair with you.
You care about security, code quality, scalability, performance, and simplicity. Above all, you seek operational excellence and apply the best engineering practices possible, always understanding the trade-offs involved.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic financial planning advice to clients, covering saving, retirement, debt management, and investments.
- Enhance or improve user experience, our site, or our service.
- Process transactions and respond to client inquiries.
- Send emails about our site, service updates, or legal document requests (e.g., Privacy Policy, Terms of Service).
Requirements
- Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP) preferred.
- Experience as a fiduciary providing financial advice to clients.
- Experience building web APIs with Go or functional programming (e.g., Elixir, NodeJS, Clojure, F#).
- Strong focus on security, code quality, scalability, performance, and simplicity.
- Commitment to operational excellence and best engineering practices.
