About the role
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. The Language Teacher plans and delivers engaging language lessons that align with program objectives and learner needs, assesses learner progress, provides constructive feedback, and adapts instructional methods to different proficiency levels.
Responsibilities
- Prepare lesson materials and facilitate interactive classroom activities
- Integrate cultural content into language instruction
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and performance
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum improvements
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and occasional events to support the overall learning environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Languages, Linguistics, or a related field
- Teaching certification or equivalent experience (highly beneficial)
- Strong skills in language teaching, lesson planning, and education
- Demonstrated ability to instruct diverse learners and proficiency levels
- Familiarity with literature and the ability to incorporate texts and cultural materials to enrich language learning
