Role Description The Language Teacher at Speak2Talk is a full-time, on-site role based in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. This role involves planning and delivering engaging language lessons that align with program objectives and learner needs. The Language Teacher is responsible for assessing learner progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting instructional methods to different proficiency levels. Daily tasks include preparing lesson materials, facilitating interactive classroom activities, integrating cultural content, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance. The Language Teacher will collaborate with colleagues on curriculum improvements and participate in meetings, trainings, and occasional events to support the overall learning environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Language Teaching and Teaching, with demonstrated ability to instruct diverse learners and proficiency levels.Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Education, including designing structured, learner-centered lessons and aligning them with curriculum goals.Candidates should possess familiarity with Literature, and the ability to incorporate texts and cultural materials to enrich language learning.Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Education, Languages, Linguistics, or a related field; teaching certification or equivalent experience is highly beneficial.Additional beneficial skills include classroom management, clear communication, cultural sensitivity, use of educational technology, and experience working with multilingual or multicultural groups.
