About the role
The Lane Fellow Program supports scientists with outstanding intellect pursuing postdoctoral research at Carnegie Mellon, honoring Ray and Stephanie Lane's donation to the computational biology department.
Responsibilities
- Pursue postdoctoral research in a computational and biological science environment
- Work under the guidance of a Computational Biology faculty member identified by the fellow
- Develop an independent research program upon completion of the fellowship
Requirements
- Have received or expect to receive a doctoral degree within one year of the fellowship appointment
- Not have prior Ph.D. or postdoctoral work at Carnegie Mellon
