Primary Responsibilities
- Continually informs and updates company Vice President as to job progress (or lack thereof).
- Continually coordinates with company Crew Leaders as to job progress (or lack thereof).
- Oversees the production of several jobs simultaneously.
- Ensures that jobs are kept on schedule and on budget.
- Ensures that all safety procedures are followed and reports any unsafe conditions to supervisors.
- Ensures all accidents are properly documented and reported immediately.
- Interfaces with subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate completion of their phase of projects.
- Interfaces with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of job materials.
- Ensures that company production standards are met.
- Ensures that all equipment is operated in a safe and proper manner.
- Ensures that all equipment is maintained properly and preventatively maintained (PMd) daily.
- Evaluates equipment utilization and recommends future purchases to Vice President.
- Ensures that job cost reports are properly analyzed and disseminated to Crew Leaders.
Job Qualifications
- A High School Diploma/GED is required.
- 3+ years prior experience in landscape, hardscape and irrigation construction is required.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License with a clean history is required.
- A successful Background Check is required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in severe weather conditions both hot and cold.
- Ability to stand and exert physical effort performing manual labor 50-70% of the time.
- Able to tolerate exposure to moderate noise levels.
