Landscaping Install Crew Member (Grand Entrance Group)
About the Role
Lion Group Services is a commercial landscape and entrance development company based in the Greater Raleigh area, with roots dating back to the 1980s. We operate under two well-known brands—Grand Entrance Group (GEG) and Commercial Landscape Management (CLM). The Install Crew Member supports the execution of landscape and construction installation projects by completing assigned field tasks in accordance with project plans, safety standards, and quality expectations. This role contributes to well-organized job sites and consistent installation results under the direction of field leadership.
Core Accountabilities
- Supporting Foremen and Project Managers in completing installation projects on schedule
- Performing assigned installation tasks accurately, safely, and efficiently
- Maintaining job sites that reflect Grand Entrance Group standards for quality, safety, and organization
Responsibilities
- Report as scheduled and receive daily direction from the Foreman
- Assist with preparing tools, equipment, materials, and vehicles for daily work
- Execute installation and site-preparation tasks in accordance with project plans and field instructions
- Maintain attention to detail and quality throughout installation activities
- Follow all safety policies and immediately report unsafe conditions or equipment issues
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and professional
- Secure tools, equipment, and materials at the end of the workday
- Complete required documentation and communicate task status as directed
Experience & Skills
- Prior experience in landscaping, installation, or construction environments preferred
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Familiarity with basic hand tools, power tools, and job site equipment
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

- Treat job sites, materials, and equipment with care appropriate to a professional installation operation
- Work cooperatively with supervisors and teammates
- Maintain safe, orderly, and professional job sites

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
Must possess strength, stamina, and mobility to perform heavy physical work outdoors in all weather conditions and with exposure to potentially hazardous conditions. Responsibilities include:
- Use of varied hand and power tools
- Lifting and moving materials and equipment weighing up to 90 pounds (heavier weights with proper equipment)
- Vision to read printed materials and a computer screen
- Hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone and/or radio
- Willingness to work overtime as required
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and with exposure to traffic and potentially hazardous conditions
