Homes First

Homes First seeks individual or groups of volunteers to adopt a home in their portfolio and help tenants maintain their yards.

• Regular mowing & edging
• Cleaning up the flower beds at the beginning of the spring season
• Trimming back trees & shrubs

Some tenants have physical disabilities that make it difficult for them to maintain their yards. Volunteers will be responsible for:

• Assisting with yard maintenance tasks
• Ensuring the yard is safe and accessible

The commitment is for one year and includes:

• Regular visits to the adopted home
• Completion of assigned yard care tasks
