About the role
POTENTIAL YEAR-ROUND GUARANTEED WORK AVAILABLE. The pay range for this role is $19-23 per hour; based on previous work experience; AND ANY CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES YOU HOLD.
Minimum Requirements of the Role
- Valid Driver's License
- Chauffeur’s Endorsement (REQUIRED)
- Previous experience: minimum of 1 year Landscaping Crew Leader
- DDOT Medical card (PREFERRED)
- State of MI (MDARD) Pesticide licenses (PREFERRED)
- Irrigation Experience (PREFERRED)
What You’d Do
- Flex your leadership skills, directing the work of 2-5 team members
- Ensure assigned tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
- Oversee day-to-day site operations and delegating work to crew members
- Maintain a schedule, and ensure service expectations are met
- Identify more efficient ways to perform work
- Surfacing client concerns to the Production Manager and proactively assisting in achieving a resolution
- Providing the Production Manager with feedback on crew members
- Aiding the Production Manager in the development and training of crew members
- Turning in accurate crew time logs
- Ensuring all crew members perform their work safely and in accordance with company policies
- Ensuring equipment is in good working order and receives appropriate preventative maintenance
- Logging equipment usage and maintenance cycles
