About the role

POTENTIAL YEAR-ROUND GUARANTEED WORK AVAILABLE. The pay range for this role is $19-23 per hour; based on previous work experience; AND ANY CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES YOU HOLD.

Minimum Requirements of the Role

• Valid Driver's License
• Chauffeur’s Endorsement (REQUIRED)
• Previous experience: minimum of 1 year Landscaping Crew Leader
• DDOT Medical card (PREFERRED)
• State of MI (MDARD) Pesticide licenses (PREFERRED)
• Irrigation Experience (PREFERRED)

What You’d Do

• Flex your leadership skills, directing the work of 2-5 team members
• Ensure assigned tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
• Oversee day-to-day site operations and delegating work to crew members
• Maintain a schedule, and ensure service expectations are met
• Identify more efficient ways to perform work
• Surfacing client concerns to the Production Manager and proactively assisting in achieving a resolution
• Providing the Production Manager with feedback on crew members
• Aiding the Production Manager in the development and training of crew members
• Turning in accurate crew time logs
• Ensuring all crew members perform their work safely and in accordance with company policies
• Ensuring equipment is in good working order and receives appropriate preventative maintenance
• Logging equipment usage and maintenance cycles
