Landscape Positions

Rob Cronin, Inc. DBA C&R Landscape Development is seeking 16 temporary/full-time landscapers from 10/1/2026 - 12/15/2026. Duties include laying sod, mulching, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, and raking. Entry-level position requiring supervision. Lifting/carrying 50 lbs. required. Saturdays may be needed.

• Saturday work required, when necessary.
• Post-hire random drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers.
• On-the-job training provided to new hires.

Compensation

Wage rate is no less than $18.69 per hour. Overtime pay varies at $28.04 per hour. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered at employer's discretion.

Benefits

Incidental transport between job sites provided. Free daily transportation to/from worksite from designated pick-up location. Use of transportation is voluntary. Employer provides or pays for inbound/outbound travel costs based on least-cost common carrier rate. Employer provides tools, supplies, and equipment (including uniforms, if applicable) necessary to perform duties. Optional worker-paid lodging assistance available. Employer makes all payroll deductions required by law. Voluntary deductions for advances, loans, rent/utilities, retirement/savings plan contributions, and health insurance premiums may be authorized.

Location

Job location: 667 US Route 30, Imperial, PA 15126 and multiple worksites within Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Washington, and Brooke counties.

Travel Reimbursement

Reimbursed for inbound travel costs at 50% of the contract, unless paid in advance. Inbound travel includes transportation costs, daily meal subsistence ($16.78 minimum, $68.00 maximum for meals, $110.00 maximum for lodging), and reasonable lodging costs, if applicable. Travel reimbursements based on least-cost common carrier rate. Outbound travel costs are covered upon completion of the contract period or early dismissal, except for workers with subsequent employment.

Guarantees

Guaranteed to offer hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 6-week period of the total contract period, beginning with the worker's first workday and ending on the contract end date or any extension thereof. Employer may count all hours worked, as well as any hours offered within the standard work schedule that a worker chooses to not work, up to the maximum number of daily hours on the job order.

Hours and Schedule

Standard work schedule is from 7:30 AM until 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours, depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Employer makes all payroll deductions required by law. Voluntary deductions for advances, loans, rent/utilities, retirement/savings plan contributions, and health insurance premiums may be authorized.
