Responsibilities

• Create beautiful environments by providing landscape maintenance support to a variety of industrial, commercial, and public properties.
• Safely operate commercial grade landscaping equipment and ensure the upkeep of plant material and other landscaping elements.
• Cut turf, trim and edge along borders, and blow using power equipment.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to improve the growth habit or remove damaged branches.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds, and apply mulch.
• Pick up trash and debris.
• Perform weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hulahoe.
• Maintain a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with guests and customers.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Enthusiastic and dependable.
• Able to safely work with equipment like power saws and cutters.
• Landscapeers operating a BrightView fleet vehicle must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (for fleet vehicle operators).

Skills

• Knowledge of commercial landscaping practices.
• Ability to operate various landscaping equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong communication skills.
