Summary

Juniper Preserve, located in Bend, OR, is seeking a full-time Landscaper to join their team. This position plays an essential role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces at the property.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• The safe and skilled operation of small battery equipment: Hand Tools, Blowers, Rotary Mowers, and String Trimmers
• Installation and maintenance of plant material
• Ensures that at the end of the day the equipment and hand tools are thoroughly cleaned and then stored in its proper location
• Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment and hand tools
• Safely operates a ¾-ton truck and cargo trailer to transport equipment, materials, and supplies to and from off-site accounts and work locations
• Reports equipment problems or failures to the supervisor immediately
• Able to effectively handle multiple tasks
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Maintains a professional standard at Juniper Preserve including, but not limited to, appearance, interaction with members, associates, guests of the club, verbal discussions and written correspondence
• Does not discuss work related issues with members and resort guests
• Maintains a positive attitude and the flexibility to take on new and different tasks as assigned by the Landscape Manager

Qualifications

• No special education required
• Must be able to understand oral instructions
• Must be able to comprehend topics of a conceptual nature
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret a variety of job related instruction manuals
• Driver’s license with clean driving record required
