Landscape WORKING Foreman

About the Role

A growing 30-year-old design/build landscape construction company in Northern New Jersey (Morris County and surrounding areas) is seeking a qualified candidate with a minimum of 5 years of landscape construction experience. This is a working, labor-intensive position where you will lead a team of 3-5 laborers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of 3-5 laborers
• Operate machinery including cut saws, transits, skid steers, and plate compactors
• Install hardscapes such as natural stone, concrete, raised patios, pavers, Belgian block, outdoor kitchens, modular block steps, and veneers
• Perform site work including grading, excavation, drainage, topsoil/sod installation, and landscape plantings
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Maintain accurate time sheets

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the landscape construction industry
• Valid driver’s license with own transportation to the shop
• Ability to drive manual transmission, commercial truck, and trailer
• Ability to lift 75 lbs
• Legally allowed to work in the United States (documentation required)
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Mechanically inclined
