Landscape Production Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an A-Player Production Manager to join our vibrant local business, part of a progressive horticultural organization with national reach. In this role, you'll supervise field staff and manage client jobs to ensure crews consistently perform high-quality work, meet client requirements, and fulfill them in a profitable and efficient manner while adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Use your knowledge of landscape maintenance, equipment, and labor & quality control to boost branch success.
• Supervise crew performance and control direct costs such as labor and materials.
• Monitor and maintain labor budgets and other direct/indirect costs to ensure income from operations is met.
• Work closely with Crew Leads and Account Managers to meet client expectations.
• Collaborate with the Shop Manager and Account Manager to ensure proper equipment and materials are ready for jobs.
• Demonstrate role-model behaviors in ethics, integrity, company culture, and safety.
• Schedule new and existing work in Aspire for efficient crew routing.
• Review and approve daily crew time in Aspire.
• Ensure accurate and timely paperwork flow between the field and office.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years' experience in commercial landscaping at the crew foreman level or higher.
• Degree in horticulture, turfgrass science, landscape technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Functional proficiency in speaking and understanding Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with safety best practices for crew members, the public, and the environment.
