About the role
Maintain landscaped areas and plant material on residential and commercial properties. Prune, mulch, weed, perform cutbacks, and cleanups on a regular schedule and as needed. Assist with landscape installations and tree work as needed/seasonally. Work well independently and on a team while caring for customer properties. Interact professionally with customers on a daily basis, communicating the process and expectations of services. Possess a general knowledge of plant maintenance practices and continue on-the-job training for all aspects of RYAN provided services along with recommendations for other RYAN services as needed on their property.
Requirements
- 3 years’ experience in landscape plant maintenance or related field
- High school diploma, Horticulture degree preferred
- Working knowledge of plant identification, proper pruning, and common issues by species
- Commercial applicator's license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Valid driver's license
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to push/pull objects while walking up to 3 miles a day
Skills
- General knowledge of plant maintenance practices

- Basic understanding of landscaping and tree care
