Responsibilities
- Operates construction equipment including skid steer, mini excavator, dingo, trencher, shovels, rakes, sledgehammer, pickaxe, concrete saw, jackhammer, backpack blowers and other hand tools.
- Leads a crew of 3-5 people in the installation of high-end residential and commercial landscape projects.
- Interacts professionally and competently with clients and team members.
- Maintains a professional appearance and is punctual.
- Maintains high morale among the crew.
- Uses personal protective equipment correctly.
Requirements
- Three years of job-related experience working with a professional landscape company.
- Fluency in English.
- Fluency in Spanish (preferred).
- Ability to operate skid steer, mini excavator, dingo, and a trencher.
- Experience installing sod, trees, plants, mulch, pine straw, and assisting in irrigation/installation repairs.
- Valid Georgia driver's license (CDL preferred) and an insurable driving record.
- Able to bend, stoop, twist, and lift up to 70 pounds.
- A reliable source of transportation to and from the dispatching office.
Qualifications
Competent in operating various construction equipment and able to lead a team in landscaping projects. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to maintain a positive team environment. Requires a valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record.
