Landscape Grounds Lead

About the role

Enmarket is looking for a Landscape and Grounds Lead to maintain and enhance the appearance of our sites across Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. This is a year-round, permanent opportunity based in Savannah, GA.

Responsibilities

• Safely cut grounds using hand, power, or riding mowers for trimming edges around walkways, beds, and walls, ensuring sites meet Nouria standards.
• Efficiently apply fertilizer to property grounds to enhance growth.
• Ensure grounds are free of weeds and dead plants.
• Prepare sites for snow removal/salting season.
• Assist with loading and unloading work trucks/trailers.
• Move and install soil, mulch, and plant materials to enhance landscape gardens.
• Operate mechanical equipment including skid steers, backhoes, dump trailers, chainsaws, and others.
• Perform landscaping duties such as planting trees, shrubs, and flowers; excavation; grading; site preparation; irrigation systems; seeding; mulching; salting; and snow removal.
• Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Wear appropriate protective equipment at all times.
• Install required materials for landscaping and irrigation.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Communicate regularly with your supervisor.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it conforms with Nouria standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma required.
• 1-year minimum experience with landscape supervising.
• Knowledge of trees, landscape plants, annuals, perennials, and horticultural practices.

Skills

• Ability to work both independently with little supervision and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Irrigation system knowledge.
• Hardscape installation experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as skid loaders and snow removal equipment.
• Experience using landscape power tools, lawnmowers, leaf blowers, head trimmers, and chainsaws.
• Experience with tree removal and pruning.
• Snow removal experience.
• Ability to walk, stand, and crouch for long periods of time.
• Ability to work after hours or weekends when necessary.
