Landscape Designer- Entry Level
Position Summary
We are seeking a talented entry-level Landscape Designer to join our fast-growing Landscape Architecture team in our New York City studio. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering and design environment, contributing to a wide range of project types and scales.
Responsibilities
Design Support — Assist in the development of conceptual, schematic, and detailed landscape designs.
Drawing & Documentation — Support the preparation of Design Development and Construction Document packages.
Digital Modeling — Produce digital graphics, renderings, and visualizations to communicate design intent.
Technical Coordination — Collaborate with architects, engineers, and planners to integrate landscape elements into multidisciplinary projects.
Site Analysis & Field Work — Participate in field work, including site visits, site inventory, measurements, photography, and documentation to support design development.
Research — Conduct research on materials, planting, sustainability strategies, and design precedents.
Project Support — Provide general project support, including drafting, modeling, and presentation preparation.
Qualifications And Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
0—3 years of experience
A high level of professionalism and strong organizational skills.
Understanding of Design Development and Construction Document preparation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
Strong digital visualization and freehand graphic skills.

- Bentley MicroStation/ OpenRoads
- ProjectWise Explorer
- Horticultural/ Arboriculture knowledge
- ISA Certified Arborist credentials
- GIS experience
