Landscape Crew Leader -EXPERIENCED
On-site position in Gaithersburg, MD. Pay: $26/hr.
About the Role
Directs crew members and equipment to plan and execute assigned landscape enhancement tasks. Cultivate your green career by enhancing the appearance and value of properties through daily grounds and turf maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Properly plant, trim, mow, weed, mulch, and fertilize landscapes.
- Diagnose insect, disease, and cultural/environmental conditions affecting turf and shrubs.
- Maintain open communication with management and clients to provide feedback on landscape needs.
- Drive, use, maintain, and properly operate landscape equipment.
Requirements
- Love of the outdoors.
- Preferred: background in Horticulture or Landscaping.
- Preferred: knowledge of turf, weed, tree, and shrub identification.
- Ability to complete Davey landscape career development books upon hire.
- Ability to complete Davey first aid, CPR, and defensive driving courses upon hire.
