Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare landscape trucks for daily operations, including loading and securing equipment.
- Deliver services as specified on client sites while maintaining schedules and meeting service expectations.
- Identify and escalate customer problems or concerns to the Operations Manager.
- Communicate regularly with Operations Manager to ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
- Aid in resolving issues with customer service when needed.
- Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies.
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, delegate work to crew team members, and coordinate service execution with Operations Manager.
- Provide feedback on crew performance and assist in developing and training team members.
- Maintain and monitor equipment, including performing preventative maintenance and logging equipment usage and maintenance cycles.
- Participate in branch meetings as directed.
- Continuously seek ways to improve work efficiency.
Education And Experience
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Experience in a landscape-related field.
- Leadership skills among the team and with peers.
Physical Demands/Requirements
- At least 18 years old (21 if operating company provided vehicles).
- Strong stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Safety equipment must be worn at all times.
- Ability to operate various landscaping equipment.
- Manual labor using a variety of hand tools.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings onto trailer (up to 50 lbs.).
- Knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures.
Work Environment
- Outdoor/indoor work in moderate to extreme weather conditions.
- Near automotive traffic, bodies of water, fumes, dust, mechanical and/or electrical hazards.
- Loud noise environments.
- Exposure to allergens, insects, and reptiles.
